How does the padel level system work?
Padel uses a tiered level system to match players of similar ability. Common systems use numeric levels (1.0–5.0) or letter-number combinations (P1, P2, P3, A1, A2, A3, P+). In the Smash. app and GCC tournaments, the scale typically works as: P1 (beginner, just learning), P2 (intermediate, consistent rallies), P3 (advanced, solid technique), A1 (competitive club level), A2 (elite amateur), A3 (semi-pro / tournament regular), P+ (professional or FIP-ranked). Self-assessment is common for recreational play; tournaments may require a verified rating. Use the Smash. Level Quiz to find your level accurately.
