Kick Serve Advanced Technique — Padel Drills
Execute high-kicking serves with pronounced topspin that bounce up and away from the receiver. Kick serves are difficult to attack and set up dominant net position.
Technique: step by step
Toss Position
Toss the ball slightly forward and to the right (for right-handers), positioning it to reach maximum height above your head.
Explosive Knee Drive
Drive aggressively from your legs with significant knee bend, generating upward thrust throughout your service motion.
Back-Arching Motion
Arch your back significantly, creating a tall finishing position that allows maximum racket acceleration upward.
Wrist Snap and Brush
Snap your wrist upward aggressively while brushing the ball with a steep racket angle, creating extreme topspin.
High Contact Point
Strike the ball at maximum reach height with a pronounced upward swing path for maximum height and kick.
Plus-One Transition
Advance immediately to net in a dominant position, prepared to attack the weak return from the kick serve.
Coach tip
Kick serves require excellent rhythm and timing. Practice your toss consistency until the kick serve becomes automatic.
