What is an Americano format in padel?
An Americano (also called "Mexican Americano" or "Padel Americano") is a round-robin padel format where players rotate partners after each game or set. Every player plays with and against every other player over the session. Points are tallied individually rather than as a fixed pair. At the end, the player with the most points wins. It's the most popular social format in padel clubs worldwide because it maximises court time and ensures everyone plays together. A 4-player Americano needs 1 court; 8 players need 2 courts. The Smash. Americano Generator creates the draw automatically.
