The boundary line running along the length of the padel court that defines the width of play.
Definition
The sideline is the boundary marking the width of the padel court. Balls landing beyond the sideline are out of play. The sideline is a critical reference point for court positioning and shot placement. Players use sideline awareness to construct angles and push opponents toward the sideline for offensive advantage. The area near the sideline is sometimes called the "alleys" in padel terminology, and controlling the sideline area is a key strategic element of court management.
If it lands on the line, it's considered in. The lines are part of the court, so it's playable.
